Special Clinical Interests

Anthony’s subspeciality is interventional endoscopy. He provides in-depth medical consultations in all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology including inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and coeliac disease. He is passionate about cancer prevention and is an endoscopist for the National Bowel Screening Program. Anthony is a member of the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology and is Southern Cross affiliated provider.

Professional Profile

Dr Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from University of Auckland in 2013. Anthony worked as a doctor in New Zealand and Australia before being awarded fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians in Gastroenterology and General and Acute Care Medicine. Anthony was an endoscopy fellow for two years at North Shore Hospital, Auckland, where he is now practicing as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.  Anthony is married and has two young children.
